Perhaps I got unlucky this time, but unfortunately my pair came way too blemished; there were too many imperfections in the pearls themselves, it was not something mild enough that I could hide or ignore. I had to return it. But hey, other reviewers are not complaining; for the price you might want to risk taking a gamble (if you're willing to return it or live with it if it doesn't work out).
One positive thing: the attachment was pretty sturdy, compared to other stud earrings I bought in the past.

Purchased these for a valentine's day gift. One pearl was slightly smaller than the other and had a slight blemish, but she loves them and wears them all the time. I can't complain too much because of the affordable price. "Made in China" on the tag and on a sticker on the box. Most freshwater pearls are sourced from there now, but having this on the tag screams "cheap".

I got these for myself and absolutely love them. They are on the smaller side, but that's exactly what I wanted. Nice shape, fantastic color, and you can't beat the price! I wear them everyday and almost always receive compliments daily.
