I ordered this item during a one day deal from Amazon. But I was disappointed when I looked at the actual product after receiving it from USPS. It looks more or less like the 17" necklace sold by Bucasi for $29. All the pearls are irregular and look ugly.

If you are looking for perfectly round, smooth pearl necklace, in a 10-11 mm size, you won't find it for under $10,000(certainly not for the price of this necklace!)but if you are looking for a beautiful, bold, large and dramatic pearl necklace with charming inperfections, this necklace is perfect! The pearls are so large and the luster is wonderful. I can wear it to work with a suit as well as with a cocktail dress to a special evening out. Just beautiful.

These are gorgeous, heavy, solid, luminous pearls. I was really impressed when I open the box - they're a really creamy white, with a pretty silver clasp. They are substantial in size - bigger than I expected. I also like that they are each unique, with subtle ridges and bumps which - to me - enhance the pearlescent qualities of each bead.
If you're looking for a traditional, standard set of perfectly round pearls, these are not those. But if you'd like the look of pearls, with a natural, modern twist, I think these would fit the bill.
